What is the manufacturer/model of your guitar?
2003 Fender Signature Series Jeff Beck Stratocaster (Olympic White)
Is the guitar electric or acoustic (or both)?
Electric
How much did you pay for the guitar? New or used?
$1329.99. New
Is the guitar easy and comfortable to play?
I cant say enough good things about this axe. I love it. Easy and comfortable to play the soft C shaped neck, rosewood fingerboard with medium jumbo frets over a maple neck & an alder body with contoured heel for ease of access to the higher registers.
Guitar tone.
A nice variety of Strat tones can be had with Fender's special-design dual-coil ceramic noiseless pickups straight ahead Strat 5-way switching. You get anywhere from gorgeous, fat & buttery warm tones to screaming snarling overdriven tones. I have a great 1988 Fender "The Twin" amplifier with #4 Groove Tubes installed that helps get every bit of potential from the guitar. The guitar and amp compliment each other perfectly. On occasions I'll play through a fine vintage Fender Princeton or a rockin' solid state Ampeg.........sometimes through rack systems. The quality of the guitar always shines through.
Guitar build quality.
Excellent. Love the Medium Jumbo frets. Did I mention the woods, neck and pickups? Yes I believe I did. It stays in tune beautifully with the deluxe Fender/Schaller locking tuners, LSR roller nut and 2-Point synchronized tremolo. (SO MUCH BETTER than Floyd Rose or a standard "whammy" system...believe me I could go on forever)

Advice
- If you have the coin & want to either add a beauty to your collection or you want one all purpose guitar then I believe this is the guitar to own. I was a Les Paul guy for years until I bought this beauty. Still Love my LP's. Strats are very versatile to begin with but this model has everything you could want in a guitar...see above. The wide range of tones & response to touch are a joy. It gives back everything you ask of it.
- Of course when I win the lottery or my album hits platinum (whichever comes first) I'm going to buy a custom replica Rory Gallagher Strat......just for fun =;~)
