This is one of those songs that can be played by just about anybody - the trick is to play it well. Beginner guitarists might want to simply play the chord version of the song, with their guitar in standard tuning. Those more comfortable with alternate tunings and different finger positions will want to try the original. The real challenge here is the strumming pattern. Listen carefully - it's not easy!
