All You Can't Leave Behind
"Beautiful Day" by U2 Notes:
Beautiful Day is a really good tune that seems to nod back to "classic" U2, yet the production is decidedly "new" U2. Note the Radiohead influence in the production. Also of note: there is some discrepency in the way the bass and keyboard play the main riff... the bass anticipates one of the notes (on the G chord), while the keyboard does not. This would generally be regarded as sloppy, or even wrong, but for some reason, the band has left it unchanged.
