Strat copy, though the body does have a bit of an Ibanez feel to it. Mine's in trans-green with a rosewood fingerboard, alder body (I think) and maple neck.Yamaha Pacifica 112 Tone Rating:

This guitar sounds awesome through a Marshall valve amp, I kid you not. S/S/H configuration, clean it's full and bright without the muddiness Squiers and other like-priced guitars seem to have. The humbucker is perfect for punk/rock. I don't know why people pay more, I recently played a gig with it and it sounded fuller, brighter and just plain better than my bandmate's Fender Tele and my other friend's Ibanez Iceman. The only guitars I've played it can't match in terms of sound would be a Gibson LP or my brother's ESP custom Explorer. But then they cost about a grand more...Yamaha Pacifica 112 Quality Rating:

No visible flaws, the trans green finish still looks great after all these years. No hardware issues at all. I don't use the trem, I don't trust 'em even on £2000 Fenders. They're shite. Always.Yamaha Pacifica 112 Overall Rating:
10/10Yamaha Pacifica 112 Pros:
It's just a great guitar. Swallow your pride, forget that it's got Yamaha written on the headstock and go buy one. I've owned and played a lot of guitars in my time, some very expensive and some horrible cheap rubbish too. This Yamaha is by no means the best guitar you'll ever own, it's £200! But you may find, like me, that it ends up being your favourite.Yamaha Pacifica 112 Cons:
Can't think of any, got no gripes with her at all. She's my baby. She's never let me down.Submitted by: Sean Pears
