Price Paid for Seagull Artist:

$600 USD

Description of Seagull Artist:

1 bridge Pickup, recently installed Fishman Matrix 2 Natural. Replaced stock LR Baggs system and Schertler Blue Stick. Spruce Top, Mahogany Back.

Seagull Artist Tone Rating:

9/10

Comments about Seagull Artist Tone:

Bright, Full, Rich Tone. Stock pickup system was garbage (piezo=crap), Schertler was much better but too touchy and lacked some funtionality (ie. Lithium Battery Powered) Fishman, better all-around system.

Seagull Artist Quality Rating:

10/10

Comments about Seagull Artist Quality:

I bought this guitar slightly damaged from the store. It was some sort of shipping damage, not a quality issue from the factory. The damage didn't affect the sound at all and I saved a lot of money on it because of it.

Seagull Artist Overall Rating:

10/10

Seagull Artist Pros:

This is a fantastic guitar in general, especially for the $$$. I hear nothing but good things about these guitars from people. I have played Martins and Taylors, wonderful instruments. But these guitars are far superior in quality for your money. Excellent tone and craftsmanship. Nice work Canada!!!!!!!!

Seagull Artist Cons:

I really only had one complaint. I didn't like the onboard electronics, good in theory, horrible in reality. Although this opinion is relative to your own personal taste and or playing style. Didn't work for me
