The sound of this guitar is awesome. You can play the blues gracefully and then get dirty with rock and roll in a heartbeat.

The guitar is heavy set and finely built. Paint job was slightly sloppy, but not notacible from distances. The only problem I had was the neck, there is a constant buzzing sounds on the higher frets, but this can be easily fixed by raising the bridge. Also, the tuning on this guitar holds excellent.

Amazing guitar, if you want a good guitar, buy this one. Will provide a lifetime of enjoyment. I would recommend this for blues players and rock and rollers.

Epiphone Les Paul Standard Cons:

Slightly sloppy paint job, buzzing frets. But you cant really see the paint job on a quick look and the buzzing can be fixed by raising the bridge. So in total, this guitar is awesome.
