$599 USDDescription of Epiphone Les Paul Standard:
2004 Made in China Epiphone Les Paul. Came with the now standard GROVER tuners and real GIBSON pickups (although not the really good ones).Epiphone Les Paul Standard Tone Rating:
8/10Comments about Epiphone Les Paul Standard Tone:
Guitar is very versatile in sound, I play many genres of music: reggae, blues, jam, rock. It holds up to all of them. It may be in your best interest to switch out the stock pickups for some Gibson 57's or perhaps burstbuckers, as there just seems to be a little lacking in the original pickups.Epiphone Les Paul Standard Quality Rating:

BE CAREFUL when buying these! Mine is in excellent shape with no major blemishes and the setup was simply perfect. Intonation was dead on, string height was perfect, volume and tone knobs were at the proper heights. Although this one was perfect, there were five others at the store and three of them had finishing blemishes, poor setup, and just lacked a general good vibe. Choose wisely!Epiphone Les Paul Standard Overall Rating:
10/10Epiphone Les Paul Standard Pros:
For 1/3 the price of a Gibson this is an extremely good value! It kicks all my Fenders' asses! The only guitar I have that this can not outplay is my limited edition Taylor acoustic-but that's just not a fair comparison because not even the Gibson model could touch that guitar.Epiphone Les Paul Standard Cons:
Quality is sporatic...some guitars genuinely play and feel like a Gibson, some look and feel like crap. DO NOT order one online, play it and see it in the store.Submitted by: Jay Diehl
