Hi guitar fans. I'm here to try and help you get your questions about the guitar answered as best possible. Due to the very high volume of mail I receive daily, I have to be a little selective about the kind of questions I answer. So, before you write, please make sure your question isn't of the following nature:
How much is my guitar worth?
I'm unfortunately not going to be able to help you. There are so many factors to consider when trying to assess the value of a guitar, it would be impossible to give an accurate estimate without examining the instrument. That said, you might have some luck visiting the instrument manufacturer's website, and talking to them directly. If you own a Gibson instrument, you'll want to consult the Online Gibson Price Guide for more help.
How do I start playing guitar?
I've created a series of online lessons designed to help people who know nothing about the guitar get started. You'll find it here. If you'd like to learn more, be sure to check out the Beginners section of the Guitar at About.com site.
Where can I find the tab for xxxxxxxx?
Check the tab pages. If you can't find the band's name under "specific bands", try poking around the "general tab sites" to hunt down the song you're trying to learn. And, be sure to check out the giant OLGA archive as well.
