Pros:
Fabulous value
Taylor Neck!
Great tone and volume for it's size.
Quality Hardware
A GREAT guitar for a beginner or experienced musician who travels a lot
Cons:
Smaller scale (size) ... I like the size myself. I can see an image first type not purchasing it due to the size and buying an inferior full size instrument. However, I do have problems with finger spacing on full size guitars ... nothing too serious though.

The sound is very bright with that wonderful Taylor ring. Rewards gentle finger work with a soothing tone and is capable of producing a strong, clear output when needed. The sound amazes everyone who hears it.

This is a sturdy instrument with a good, solid feel. It is a plain guitar by design. The setup was perfect right out of the box. It stays in tune. I recently ordered a new Taylor 655ce primarily because of my satisfaction with the quality and construction of this Big Baby Taylor.

Pros:
I simply cannot imagine a better guitar for the money, and I tried a bunch of them. A beginner will be encouraged by the ease with which it can be played. Younger/smaller people will appreciate the 15/16 size. (I actually purchased this for my 10-year-old son.) Folks looking for a travel guitar need look no further. The sound eclipses that of guitars costing many times more;I often walk by my high-end guitar to pick this up because it is such a delight to play.
Cons:
Appearance is unremarkable. Exposed neck mounting hardware is a distraction and not very attractive. Rough edges are visible on some interior surfaces. Having said that, remember this is why such a marvelous guitar can be had for such a reasonable price. None of this adversly effects the sound, which, after all is why we buy these things, right? Nice work, Mr. Taylor.
