Description:
Acoustic. Made in Canada. This one was one of the REALLY early models. They have improved things such as rosette inlays since then.

Comments:
Personally, I like a thick and meaty tone; I use medium gauge strings. This guitar has a very solid deep tone and is well balanced across all strings.

Comments:
I have had this guitar for eight years with no repairs. The initial setup was good and has remained so. The finish is easily damaged...there are a quite a few marks from my overzealous strumming phase. Otherwise, the wood has darkened and aged beautifully.
Overall:
Pros:
This has been a great guitar for me. I bought it after playing nine months. It was a little more expensive than flashier plywood models, but it is still my MAIN practice guitar. The solid wood has really paid off in the end.
Cons:
Seagull who? The only time I have ever seen one of these guitars on eMpTyV was YEARS ago on a Breeders video (do they still show guitars on MTV?). This guitar sounds fantastic, but its plain looks let everyone know you bought a bargain. If this is too much for your ego, you're better off spending another $200 and getting the Yamaha all your friends are playing.
