There is no other guitar that sounds like a Ric. Every serious guitar player should have one in his/her collection.

Comments:
Hand made, beautiful finish. The balance is perfect, not neck heavy or body heavy. Neck thru body, great sound!
I made one change when I got this guitar, the STRINGS, Seems Rickenbacker likes to use some wierd combination of string gauges! I have been playing guitar over 35 years and have owned just about every guitar there is, BUT this it the FIRST guitar that I did not have to set up! Maybe it was just luck on my part! Set up was perfect!

Pros:
I had a question about what type of switches Ric uses and I needed an answer. Well, lol, the guy that answers the phone, "he btw is the son of a famous guitar player that helped put Ric on the Map" tells me to call some tech at a music store because all his people are busy making guitars! I sure hope nothing happens to my Ric, I doubt I would ever get it fixed by warrenty!
OK here is the bottom line on this Ric. I own several Gibsons, Les Pauls, ES335. Also fenders, stats and teles. This ric as I said earlier sounds like no other guitar, you can hear the clean tones of this guitar thru any mix! When I record and want a clean guitar that will cut thru the mix I use the Ric.
Cons:
I think Rickenbacker does a wonderful job of making their guitars, but as with anything, customer service is just about as important. Ric in my opinion fails bad at customer sevice.
