Price Paid: $759.00 USD (no case)
Description: Made in USA. This acoustic electric has a plastic bowl back for stage performances and better sound projection, making it a loud acoustic for its size. Its tone is nice, and plays fairly well. I use elixer strings which make almost anything play nicer. Its pick-up is decent... but I can't really offer a solid viewpoint because ive only used it on my electric amp. The fretboard is rosewood, and im not sure about the neck.
Tone:
Comments: The tone is not as full as a full size acoustic, but the guitar isnt designed for full sound from size. Its geared toward a small body with a rounded back to project sound out. It doesnt compare to some up-scale models, but for the price the tone is great.
Quality:
Comments: No complaints yet, other than they less than spectacular pickup.
Overall:
Pros: For the money the guitar is worth it. Its my only acoustic, but I like it more than my friends Martin D-28 (but thats probably becuase I use elixer strings). My opinion is its not great, but its far from bad.
Cons: The body type (plastic back) takes away from some of the depth and richness of the sound
