Tone:
Comments: An incredibly bright, full sound throughout the entire range. Beautiful tone as one might expect from any of Steve Helgeson's acoustic models
Quality:
Comments: A flawless finish and beautiful inlay. The neck was setup for finger picking and is thin enough for any style. Gold tuners, an ebony hand carved eagle bridge.
Overall:
Pros: I waited years to be able to afford a Moonstone and it was worth the wait. I have had a couple other luthiers look this instrument over and play it and they were very complimentary about the craftsmanship and astounded at the responsiveness and tone.
Cons: Can be as much as a six month wait...the instruments are built on order.
