Description:
Electric. Made in Japan. Bridge humbucker, hot rail middle and neck pickups all Seymour Duncan. Built in 2000. Alder body wings, maple neck-through. JT580LP Tremolo. Amber sunburst finish is beautiful and worth the extra $30.00.
Tone:
Comments:
Very good sustian from the humbucker, hot rials have excellent definition. Presently ran through a POD 1.0 and Marshall DSL 201.
Quality:
Comments:
Thinnest neck I've played. Low string action, no buzzes from the huge, perfectly polished frets. Better feel, action and tone than previously owned Carvin (SC90), Epiphone (G-400), Ibanez (RG-585), Kramer (Baretta FR404S), Gibson (71' SG-STD.) and Spirit-Steinberger (GT-Pro) solid body electrics.
Overall:
Pros:
Best guitar I've owned in 25 years (I found my thrill). Guitar Center RULES (did internet price match and decent trade deal).
Cons:
Very well put together. If you've never played a neck-through Jackson, don't buy another ax until you try one. If you're after low action with killer tone Jackson neck-throughs RULE.
