Comments:
This guitar has really good sustain and a bright and somewhat tinny tone. When played through marshall amps it tends to be very overdriven and fuzzy...sounds great...but when played through fender amps it takes a lot of adjustment to get it to sound just right...

Comments:
One problem...the stock pickup in the bridge position sucked...too weak for a humbucker...easily fixed with an aftermarket pickup...also the pickups produce quite a lot of background noise.
Overall:
Pros:
I got this guitar in 1991 as a graduation present...it was the first guitar I owned...I've only had one problem in the almost 10 years I've owned it, which was a dirty pick-up switch (my fault), with a little cleaning spray it cleared right up...everything has been perfect with this guitar since day one...the finish is great looking and very durable (only one chip in 10 years, and I'm rough on equipment).
Cons:
As stated before the stock pickups are very noisy and a little weak, especially the humbuckers. I replaced the bridge with a Seymour Duncan distortion aftermarket HB and it made the the guitar sound 100 percent better...additionally it's a good idea to get a coil splitter for the neck pu to get a little more diversity out of the sound of the stock pu...it is very servicable, but a little muddy if you are trying to play something that requires a full tone.

Pros:
the neck is thin and easy to solo on
Cons:
the necks to narrow, it's not made out of mahogany...the tremolo almost came out of the guitar when i pulled on the wami bar, it scratches easily and nicks just as easy
