Price Paid: $600 USD
Description: Made in Korea. it has two humbucking pickups,2000,body is basswood and neck is ash, smaller than avearage very curvy and sleek very classy looking,it has a low-trs 2 type bridge, tuners are schaller
Tone:
Comments: very bright sounding, tends to be little thin but rarely, pickups are decent two humbuckers one at the neck and bridge, very versatile(because it has a coil tap switch/pot)I have a peavey 5150 edward van halen half stack.
Quality:
Comments: no major flaws, great quilty hardware,no neck problems, good craftmanship, good duribility, easy setup and alows for action to be low
Overall:
Pros: its worth the money, good customer service,it creams my other guitars even the gibsons because it stays in tune better with only a little more effort
Cons: will probably need new pickups because they just dont have much output.

Price Paid: $300 USD
Description: 2 humbuckers, built in the late nineties, JS body shape, some kind of a floyd rose double locking trem
Tone:
Comments: This guitar is all about versatility. There's a push/pull pot on one of the knobs so you can split the humbuckers. The bridge pickup was real wussy so I replaced it with a DiMarzio Tone Zone and now the thing just rips. Sounds a lot like a wolfgang. I play through a Boss GT-3 Processor and a Peavey Special 212 solid state amp.
Quality:
Comments: The finish is real sweet. I had to replace the pickup selector switch though, that was cheaply made. Seems to be put together pretty nice, I've only had one set up done on it (as long as you change the strings one at a time and use the same gauge of string every time you should be alright.)
Overall:
Pros: This is a pretty killer guitar once you replace the bridge pickup. It's probably my favorite guitar that I own right now and I have a couple Les Pauls and a couple of modified strats.... never had to deal with customer service because I bought it used.
Cons: The bridge pickup is very weak and the pickup selector is cheap
