Ibanez EX series
[Submit a Review]

Price Paid: $189 USD (used)
Description: electric. made in Korea. Early 90's double cutaway with h-s-s pickups. I hated the stock pu's so now i have EMG85-SA-SA active config.
Tone:
Comments: Its generally a muddy sound, kind of like early Black Sabbath. The singles aren't that bright either. I like that tone though so I'm happy
Quality:
Comments: There's lots of scratches (my fault). It's very durable, although new tuning pegs wouldn't hurt.
Overall:
Pros: I got a great deal. I got the thing for about 190 bucks and poured $220 into it to get the new pickups installed. So I with about $410 into it I think i have a $410 guitar.
Cons: Since they don't make it anymore customer service is pretty much nonexistent, well their website anyway.
