Description:
Okay, it is a Les Paul Gem serie from 1996 fitted with P-90 elements
It is a standard les paul, but with other colors and other elemtens..that's all. So it has got Tune-O-matic brigde and a tail stopbar, Gibson Deluxe tuners and 2 P-90 elements.

The sound is really good! humbucking elements are at clean always a bit muddy, but the P-90 (single coil) has a fantastic sound!! But it are very heavy singles, so on crunch and lead the guitar has also that lovely heavy sound of a standard in it. I play my guitar for the lead always with the neck pick-up (just like slash) and with a low action, I use a 1.14 mm pick and all this goes right into my amp, a Marshall Dual Super Lead 100 watt, which drives a classic 4 x 12"" cabinet with vintage speakers. This all sounds really good!!

Okay, now the nicest part. The gibson Gem series were deliverd in awful colors, like purple, mine was purple, but when it arrived in Holland 5 years ago, the coat was terribly damaged, so the importer decided to take the coat off, So my guitar looks now like a Smartwood ore something, but it has the weight, thickness and sustain of a Standard! In combination with P-90 elements, my guitar is awful rare!! And it certenly looks very nice, It has golden hardware and the neck is because it has no coat, extremely fast and smooth!!

Pros:
