Comments about Fender MA-1: The guitar has a 1/2 inch diameter dark spot in the wood on the top. Other than that it seems to be pretty well made. No problems at all with the way it plays.
Overall Opinions of Fender MA-1:
Pros: I bought this for my 8 year old son. So far I've played it more than he has. It is easy to play. Good action and has pretty good intonation. It's not perfect, but its a heck of a lot better than the cheapo I started out on. This would make a good travel guitar. 36" long and fairlyu durable looking.
Cons: Lets face it. You get what you pay for. This is an excellent deal for $89.00 US, but if you are picky, don't waste your money. This is a good, basic guitar for a kid or travel, but its not a baby taylor.
