Tone of Epiphone LP Junior:
Comments about Epiphone LP Junior: Classic kerrrannng! Through a Rat Vintage pedal and a Deluxe Reverb I got Neil Young tones a-plenty. Has v-nice controllable feedback level.
Quality of Epiphone LP Junior:
Comments about Epiphone LP Junior: Neck pocket passed business card test. Plastic nut and tuners are headed for the trash can. P-90 installed slightly crooked, though not stage-visibly. Flawless paint, mostly OK deck, from a sale at Sam Ash, the last one left.
Overall Opinions of Epiphone LP Junior:
Pros: Stupid cheap. Short scale encourages bendy, vibrato styles. Usuable equally from studio to BBQ. Stands up to high volume. cons: Nut and tuners are must-gos. The answer to the P-90 noise issue is, "keep playing".
Cons:

Price Paid for : $95 USD
Description of : made in Korea. 1 P-90 pickup, built in 1999 I think, all mahagony, single cutaway design, adjustable stop bridge, standard crappy tuners.
Tone of :
Comments about : P-90's are the killer pickup of the century, and this one rocks big time.
Quality of :
Comments about : Excellent finish, nice fingerboard wood, good bridge (glad it is adjustable), crappy tuners. Stays in tune reasonably well.
Overall Opinions of :
Pros: This guitar is a steal! The sound is so cool that I wish my other guitars (both older Gibsons) had P-90's too. The neck is pretty good and I love it's looks (just like the Gibson Leslie West played in Mountain. The guitar regularly costs more, but still under $200 - I got a special deal. It also included an adjustable version of the stop bridge - a nice plus for setting intonation.
Cons: The tuners are crap, but lets face it - good tuners cost as much as I paid for this axe. The action doesn't compare to my 69 SG, but it is still pretty good. The hum from the P-90 is no worse than any other P-90 based instrument. You lear to live with it (and it is worth it).

Description of : there is one awsome P-90 pickup which is great for every type of music. Tuners aren't the best but they hold tune really well. If the pickup buzzes keep playing.
Tone of :
Comments about : This Guitar's tone sounds great through a marshall jcm2000 dsl 401 and a danelectro distortion pedal which gives you a punk/heavy metal tone.
Quality of :
Comments about : Everything on the guitar is awsome except for the tuners. You might have3 to adjust the action on the guitar.
Overall Opinions of :
Pros: Great Guitar for beginners to the pro's. It gives you a great BLink 182, Greenday, New Found Glory sound which is awsome.
Cons: The tuners are standard tuners which won't hold tune for more than two weeks with out tunning.
