Comments:
The tone of this instrument is incredible. With the active electronics module I can set it to almost any imaginable tone. The sustain is awesome due to the neck thru body. I play it through a Marshall amp.

Comments:
The finish is flawless and the quilt is beautiful. The guitar was setup perfectly and is incredibly well crafted... especially considering the price... a great value.
Overall:
Pros:
The Carvin DC-400 has a very fast neck. It is thin, strong and easy to play. The fretwork is exceptional... no buzzing... no sharp edges. The intonation is great and this is a 24 fret instrument. With a Marshall, a POD unit, and the active electronics, you can't find a better sound making machine. Best money I ever spent! I love it.
Cons:
You have to wait for them to build it and you don't get to go to a store and pick one out (unless you live in California).
