Comments about Alverez Yairi DY-71 Graphite Koa:
Fit and finish are very good. Neck is smooth and frets are nicely finished off. Tuners are adequate, initial setup

Overall Opinions of :
Pros:
Koa wood has an aged sound out of the box. It's not as harsh as Mahogany or as quercky as Rosewood. If your looking in this price range, do not buy, without auditioning a Koa instrument- different & highly recommended
Cons:
Koa Yairi's might be a little hard to find, not everybody carries them, but if you're thinking about a Takamine or Martin DR, try an Alverez Canyon& Graphite Dreadnought as well, you won't be disappointed.
