Since his early days in the
, guitarist Steve Morse has been looked upon as a hero by many fans of guitar-centric music. The
DVD is an uneven 46 minute instructional video that attempts to explain the guitarist's style and technique. While Morse is certainly a great technical guitarist, his teaching skills leave something to be desired - Morse is often left struggling to explain his thoughts clearly. The DVD's best moments include sequences of Morse playing with his band, with camera angles suited to watching the guitarist's hands move. Hardcore Morse fans might find this footage strong enough to make the DVD worthwhile, but for casual fans and others, this Warner Bros. release isn't recommended.
