Great Music, Great Time, Great Price!: Visitors to New Orleans will want to make a point to stop by Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, and catch the excellent blues guitarist/singer John Fohl in performance on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. Fohl, a former member of the Cherry Poppin' Daddies, and current guitarist for Dr. John, puts on a one-man-show for the sparse collection of tourists who wander into the club. The lack of crowds should ensure you a seat up front, so you can check out Fohl's fingerpicking and slide technique. The set time is perfect, as it allows you to catch some great music during the day, and still gives you a chance to check out any number of other great bands at night. There's no cover charge, but be sure to hit the tip jar on your way out the door.
