Most guitarists with an eye for quality will know D'Angelico instruments - they have traditionally produced some of the finest handmade archtop guitars available. Since the death of John D'Angelico in 1964, however, the guitars have not been built in the U.S.A.
Good news... GTRStore has purchased the D'Angelico brand, and is taking measures to ensure the integrity of the original D'Angelico line in maintained, including getting MRIs of the time-honored guitars.
Currently, the Korean-made line of D'Angelico guitars are available, and range in price from $1,000 to $1,700. In a few months, the American line of D'Angelico guitars will relaunch, with a retail price starting at $7,500.
