I had the fortune of spending a few days in Clarksdale Mississippi last week. Blues fans will know Clarksdale as "birthplace of the blues" and home to "The Crossroads", the junction between highway 61 and highway 49, where legend has it Robert Johnson sold his soul to the devil so he could learn to play the blues.
To spare you the trouble of going through the whole selling-your-soul bit, here's a quick and easy little blues riff played by Robert Johnson that you can learn with the help of an mp3 and tab.
