YouTube: Learning to Play Harmonics Guitar Lesson

Tuesday September 16, 2008
Here's a basic and fairly simple video lesson describing how to play harmonics on guitar. The video describes the process of playing "classical harmonics" (which I've always called "artificial harmonics"), a technique that involves touching a string with your picking hand 12 frets above a fretted note, and plucking the string with another finger on your picking hand. This is a good technique to learn - especially for guitarists interested in creating interesting lead guitar parts.
