How Long Should You Spend on Each Lesson?

Friday October 14, 2005
Jason asks:
I've only been playing for 2 weeks now, and have made some real progress thanks to your lessons. How long should I stay on a single lesson before moving to the next?
I don't have a specific answer for this, except to advise you should know the chord names, and how to play all chords in each lesson. You should be able to play all examples competently. Don't wait until everything is perfect, however... you'd be on the first few lessons for months. Be patient, and you'll continue to improve.Beginner Guitar Lesson Archive
